Front doors in Wivenhoe
An entrance designed around your hallway.
A front door is a daily point of contact with your home. For Wivenhoe, we begin with the existing opening and hallway, then help you compare composite and aluminium designs, glazed sections and practical access details. The Wivenhoe Comp Door project began with an entrance that was no longer usable. For your own brief, separate essential improvements to operation and access from the colours and decorative details you would like.

Before you choose
Stand inside before choosing the outside
Check where the door swings, how much light the hallway needs and whether sidelights could improve the layout. A striking external design still needs to work with furniture, stairs and the available opening space.

Discuss handle style, locking routine and threshold suitability during the survey.
A project close to home
An entrance brought back into everyday use
This Wivenhoe customer’s old uPVC front door had stopped working. We replaced it with a Comp Door composite entrance, with multi-point locking and Kubu smart technology recorded in the project specification.
The case study shows the actual work and photographs. It is an example of one customer’s choices; we will help you put together the right specification for your own entrance.
