A conservatory you can use more
If your conservatory is uncomfortable in summer or loses heat quickly in winter, the roof is a good place to start. Ultraroof replaces the existing roof with an insulated system designed for conservatories. We assess your existing structure and help you balance insulation, daylight and the look of your home.

A plastered vaulted ceiling creates a room-like interior, with a perimeter pelmet to accommodate lighting and optional speakers.
Choose a fully tiled design or discuss full-length glass panels and roof windows to bring natural light into the room.

The finishing touches
Plan the electrical details before plastering, so the wiring and fittings are considered as part of the room. Add your preferences in the visualiser and we’ll include the agreed options in your quotation.
Practical lighting within the internal pelmet or agreed ceiling positions. Discuss the number of fittings, warm or neutral light and compatible dimming controls.
Ask about concealed LED strip lighting for a softer evening feel, or exterior downlights where the soffit design allows. Switching and control options are agreed with your electrical specification.
Enjoy music or podcasts from a compatible phone with discreet fitted speakers. We’ll confirm the speaker system, amplifier or power requirements and suitable positions as an optional part of your installation.
Lighting and audio are optional additions, not included automatically with the roof. Final equipment and positioning depend on the agreed design and electrical installation.

Designed around your existing conservatory
We check the roof shape, supporting frames, walls and foundations before recommending a replacement. Keep suitable parts of your conservatory, or discuss new windows, doors or wall upgrades as part of the project.
Your quote explains the agreed work, from removing the old roof to the new roof covering, internal finish and chosen electrical additions. We’ll also discuss the relevant approval process for your property.

Before you decide
Often, yes. We first survey the frames, supporting walls, foundations and the connection to your home. We’ll explain whether they are suitable to keep or whether any strengthening or replacement work is needed.
The price depends on roof shape and size, access, the condition of the existing structure, tile finish, glazing and electrical options. Your written quotation will set out the roof, removal work, plastering, electrics and any additional work included. Use the designer and enquiry form to tell us what you have in mind.
Replacing a glazed roof changes the amount and direction of daylight. Full-length glass panels or suitable roof windows can help retain natural light. We will discuss the room’s aspect and the effect on adjoining rooms before agreeing a layout.
Yes, these can be discussed as optional additions to your installation. The internal pelmet provides space for lighting and speakers. We agree the fittings, wiring, switching and speaker equipment before installation, with positions subject to the roof design and electrical requirements.
The authentic lightweight tile range includes Carbon Grey, Harvest Brown and Terra Brick. Metrotile shingle finishes include Charcoal, Burnt Umber and Antique Red. Ask about the full current range when you enquire. Screen colours are illustrative: choose from a physical sample before ordering.
A change from a glazed conservatory roof to a solid roof needs project-specific checks. We will discuss the approval route and any supporting calculations with you at survey stage. Do not assume an existing conservatory exemption automatically covers the proposed work.
The roof is made to suit your conservatory, which helps reduce cutting on site. Timing depends on its size, access, weather and any additional work. We will confirm a schedule that includes removal, roof fitting, electrics and plastering before work starts.
