Made for homes with character

A timber look, down to the details

Replacing windows should enhance the home you love. Timberlook brings together a flush exterior, timber-style corner joints and carefully chosen finishes for cottages, townhouses and contemporary renovations across Essex.

Flush, balanced lines

The opening sash sits flush with the outside frame when closed. Choose clear glass for a simpler look or decorative bars to echo the proportions of your home.

The detail of joinery

Timberweld corner detailing recreates the appearance of traditional butt joints. A deeper Radlington cill and heritage handles can complete the design.

Less upkeep, more comfort

Foiled uPVC needs no regular repainting. Energy-efficient glazing, weather seals and multi-point locks provide the practical side of the upgrade.

A finish for every setting

From soft heritage shades to bold black

Cream, Painswick and Chartwell Green sit comfortably alongside period brickwork and render. Irish Oak, Golden Oak and Rosewood introduce warmth, while Anthracite and Ulti-Matt Black create a sharper contemporary finish. Use the swatches above to compare all 13 options.

Woodgrain, smooth and dual-colour availability depends on the chosen finish. We will confirm your inside/outside combination before ordering.

The finishing touch

Handles with the right character

Choose contemporary furniture for a clean finish, or Premium Regency monkey-tail and pear-drop handles for a more traditional feel. Heritage hardware is shown in black and pewter; contemporary options include white, chrome and gold.

Timberlook windows: your questions

Are Timberlook windows made from wood?

No. They are uPVC windows designed to recreate timber styling through flush frames, corner detailing and a choice of woodgrain finishes. They offer a timber appearance without regular painting or staining.

How much do fitted Timberlook windows cost?

The price depends on sizes, opening sections, frame colours, glazing, decorative bars, hardware and the installation work. Send us your window quantities and approximate measurements for an initial discussion; a survey confirms the final specification and fitted quote.

Can I have a different colour inside and outside?

Dual-colour combinations are available within the range. The visualiser lets you compare matching frames with a white interior. We will check that your preferred combination is available for the specification being quoted.

What is the difference between flush and standard casement windows?

On a flush window, the opening sash aligns with the outer frame when closed. A standard stormproof casement usually overlaps the frame. The flush arrangement gives Timberlook its flat, joinery-inspired exterior.

Can I choose handles and decorative glazing bars?

Yes. Compare contemporary, monkey-tail and pear-drop handles in the visualiser, along with clear glass, a horizontal bar or a Georgian-style grid. Final bar construction, hardware finishes and opening directions will be confirmed with your order.

Can Spectrum fit Timberlook windows near me?

We are based in Brightlingsea and install across Essex, including Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Chelmsford and Maldon. Include your postcode in the enquiry so we can confirm coverage and arrange the next step.
