Bifold doors in Clacton-on-Sea
Open your Clacton home to the garden with aluminium bifold doors planned around the opening and the way you live. Compare Origin and Korniche options, panel arrangements, colours and thresholds with Spectrum Glazing before agreeing a surveyed specification. Our Clacton examples include door replacements and both glass-roofed and solid-roofed living spaces. Use the case studies to distinguish a straightforward replacement from a project that changes the room itself.

Korniche bifold doors
Compare Korniche aluminium bifolds for a new extension or replacement opening. The overall width and desired access help determine the panel arrangement.
Explore Korniche bifold doors →Bifold or sliding?
Bifolds fold to the side, while sliding doors keep their panels within the track arrangement. Compare clear opening space, the closed view and the room available for stacking.

Make everyday access part of the design
Think about where the panels will stack, how you move between the house and garden, and whether a convenient everyday access door is available in your chosen configuration. Discuss floor levels and drainage alongside the threshold.
A sheltered garden and a seafront position can have different requirements. Tell us about exposure, access and any property restrictions so we can discuss the specification, hardware and manufacturer care guidance before you order.
How much do bifold doors in Clacton cost?
Width, height, panel count, colour, glazing, hardware and the installation work affect the price. A new structural opening and making-good work need their own agreed scope. Share photographs and approximate sizes for an initial discussion.

We are extremely happy with our new windows. We’ve had lots of comments from friends and neighbours on how lovely the windows look. They gave the house a complete makeover.
Richard and team are very professional and went the extra mile to help us resolve our issues. Thank you!
We will be using this company again for the front porch and the remaining of the windows.

We had two replacement windows with Spectrum. Both the ordering and fitting were simple and efficient. It took 4 weeks from ordering to fitting. The team that fitted the windows were friendly but professional. We would recommend this company.

Richard and the team were wonderful with our tricky small extension/garden room. We had 3 different building companies tell us we had no options to extend. Richard was solutions focused and listened carefully to understand what we wanted to achieve. He used reputable and high quality subcontractors for parts of the build and we are thrilled with the results. While we've only gained an extra 15m2 on our downstairs, it's completely transformed how we use the space as a family and means we can finally entertain.

We couldn’t be happier with the service from Spectrum Glazing. Rich was really great in helping us achieve exactly the look we were going for and the fitters, Phil & Mark were great from start to finish, working skillfully throughout the day (and in the pouring rain!) they left the house clean, having used dust sheets everywhere and vacuumed once the job was done. The new windows look fantastic and the finish is impeccable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stress-free experience.

We are very happy with our new doors. Everything was smooth and easy, with great communication throughout the process, and the installation only took a few hours. They also cleaned up and took away the old doors, which was nice and one less thing to worry about. Would definitely recommend this local business!

Absolutely chuffed with our new front door from Spectrum. It has made such a huge difference to our entrance way, and no draft at all on the inside. The whole process was smooth and easy and the new door was installed within 6 weeks of ordering, even with the Christmas period. Such good value for money as well with the quality and experience. Would highly recommend.

Spectrum recently replaced all the windows in my house and built a Hup extension to the property. They have been entirely excellent throughout, with all work carried out on schedule, on budget and to an excellent standard. I would definitely use them again, and have no hesitation in giving them my strongest recommendation.

Firstly, I cannot praise Spectrum Glazing Limited enough for the quality and attention to detail of the fitters tasked with our installation. They went above and beyond my expectations. They were polite, tidy and efficient and did the perfect job.
The product as you can see from the images, look amazing and really enhance our kitchen. The door flow easily when opening and closing, the handles make this operation simple and the locking is also simple.
The lead time for the product was also much shorter than other companies had quoted.
I am very pleased with the doors and would recommend them and the service that I received. An excellent product, and a happy customer.

Your questions answered
How many panels should I choose?
The opening size, product limits, everyday access and preferred folding arrangement all matter. We can compare suitable configurations once the dimensions are known.
Can bifolds replace my existing patio doors?
Often a replacement can be considered, but the opening and supporting structure must be assessed. Any changes to the opening and surrounding finishes are included in the agreed scope.
Can I have a low threshold?
Discuss access needs, internal and external floor levels, exposure and drainage with us. The suitable threshold detail depends on the product and site conditions.
Do coastal homes need different care?
Tell us about the property’s exposure. We can explain the selected manufacturer’s cleaning and maintenance guidance for frames, tracks and hardware.
