Origin aluminium bifold door design

Designed around your home

The slim-profile choice

Origin identifies OB36+ by its 36mm profile sightline. This is a profile measurement, not the total width of every meeting stile in an installed door. Request a section drawing for your chosen configuration when comparing products. Choose the clear-glass Gallery look or add Soho bars; both can be explored with the Signature Knurled handle collection. Glazing, overall size and thresholds are specified to suit the project.

Plan the practical details

Everyday access

A traffic door can give you a convenient route into the garden without folding the whole set. The panel arrangement determines what is possible.

Threshold & weathering

We consider exposure, drainage and finished floor levels. A low threshold needs careful detailing; the right solution depends on the location.

Glass & performance

Glazing and door dimensions affect the complete door’s thermal performance. Your written specification will confirm the proposed glass, security and guarantee.

Your questions answered

Which Origin bifold model should I choose?

Compare OB36+, OB49 and OB72 by their appearance, suitable hardware and the specification needed for your opening. We can help you compare like-for-like drawings and quotations.

Can I have different colours inside and outside?

Origin offers dual-colour options. Tell us the external and internal colours you want and we will confirm the combination, finish and lead time for your chosen system.

Is the designer an exact quotation?

No. It is a visual starting point for your enquiry. Our quotation follows a check of dimensions, configuration, glazing, hardware and installation requirements, with final sizes confirmed at survey.

Can I see the doors before ordering?

Yes. Visit our Brightlingsea showroom to see the Origin Soho bifold display. Book ahead if you would like time to discuss drawings, samples and your planned opening.
