Why the roof was replaced
The owners wanted to make better use of a conservatory that became uncomfortably hot. The project replaced the existing glass roof with a LivinRoof system, changing the balance of solid and glazed roof areas.
Keeping daylight in the design
Glazed sections using Ambi Blue Sunshade glass brought daylight through the replacement roof. The placement of these sections was considered alongside the more enclosed feel of the new ceiling.
Finishing the room
The recorded scope included roof replacement, plastering and electrical lighting work. The project was completed on 4 February 2024. The photographs show the roof and interior details across the installation.
