Obscure Glass Patterns

What is Pilkington Obscure Glass?

Pilkington obscure glass is a high-quality textured glass designed to restrict visibility while still allowing plenty of natural light to flood into your home. It is an ideal solution for areas where you want to keep prying eyes out but want to maintain a bright, welcoming atmosphere.

Common Applications

• Bathrooms and En-suites: Maintain total privacy without relying on blinds or curtains.
• Front Doors and Porches: Secure your entrance while keeping your hallway light and airy.
• Side Windows: Prevent overlooking from neighbouring properties.
• Internal Partitions: Divide rooms stylishly while sharing natural light.

Understanding Privacy Levels

To help you choose the right glass for your home, Pilkington grades its patterns on a simple privacy scale from 1 to 5:

• Level 1: Offers the least privacy. Best suited for decorative purposes where light transmission is the main priority.
• Level 2-3: Provides moderate privacy. Ideal for living spaces and internal doors.
• Level 4-5: Delivers the highest level of privacy. Strongly recommended for bathrooms, front doors, and lower-level windows.
