The brief
Greg’s family had outgrown their home but wanted to stay in the area. A utility room and a shared kitchen, dining and living space were high on the wishlist.
The design
Greg, who helped develop the hup! system, chose a 30-square-metre full-width rear extension. The tiled roof includes long glazed panels, and two sets of bifold doors connect the new room to the garden. Existing rear rooms were opened into the extension.
The result
The finished layout provides the missing utility area and a central place for meals, films and family activities.
