The brief
Amanda wanted to extend the kitchen of her new-build home with a sociable place for family time and entertaining. Keeping daylight in the adjoining kitchen was a priority.
The design
The conservatory combines a glass roof, dwarf walls and French doors. Brick mesh finishes echo the house, with anthracite frames and roof detailing. An internal pelmet gives the roof perimeter a more solid feel, and tinted roof glass was selected for the east-facing position.
The result
The finished space provides somewhere to sit while cooking, relax with a drink or spend time with visitors.
