Project Objective

We were originally asked to quote for just a roof replacement on this conservatory in Stanway, but after checking the structures foundations, it was found the original conservatory had been constructed on very shallow footings, 100mm deep in fact, not nearly enough for even the current conservatory, let alone adding the extra weight of a tiled roof.

We took this opportunity along with the homeowner to redesign the look of the conservatory, with the owners opting for a more contemporary anthracite grey frame and stunning 4 pane aluminium bifolds to really open up the conservatory to their immaculate garden.

Project Specifications

The entire structure was carefully pulled down before deeper (1000mm deep) footings were dug and the walls rebuilt to the same footprint, in line with the newly laid patio area, all seamlessly brick matched to the main house.

The new fully insulated Ultraroof with two large self cleaning Ambi Blue Sunshade glass panels in the roof will now provide a warm, bright, inviting room for this family to enjoy.

Fully plastered throughout with electrical sockets and down lighters.

This beautiful extension will provide this family with a fully usable all year round space for many years to come.
