Glass roof Orangery Installation in Colchester Essex

Project Objective

This young family were doing an incredible job of renovating their home, and were looking to extend their living space, in particular the kitchen area, in order to create a beautiful kitchen/dining space to entertain friends and family

After speaking with the customer, they decided on an Orangery style conservatory with an internal lighting pelmet to create a warm cosy area for dining in.

Project Specifications

As a new build structure, the area was cleared and 700mm deep footings dug out

Full height brick wall on boundary side and dwarf wall opposite

Set of french doors to the front and full height sidelights, large windows to the side.

Resize window (make smaller, brick up and plaster internally)

Ultraframe Classic glass roof installed, along with lighting pelmet surround With self cleaning Ambi Blue Sunshade glass panels in the roof.

Fully plastered throughout (Homeowner is an electrician, installed sockets/down lighters and outdoor lights themselves)

Linear Smooth white double glazed window frames
Ultraframe Classic Glass Roof conservatory roof fitted with internal lighting pelmet.
Ambi Blue Sunshade Roof Glass – with 82% heat reflection
Low iron ‘A’ energy rated glass fitted in the side frames.
