Stunning solid roof conservatory extension finished recently on a bungalow in Clacton-on-Sea
This is our first project using the new insulated Hup! Walling system from Ultraframe, and wow, we are blown away with the finished product.
This beautiful large gable extension features two sets of aluminium Korniche bifolds, enabling the whole room to be opened up into the garden, creating an enviable new living room for this customer.
With the help of the impressive vaulted ceiling, pitched to match the height of the bungalow, and the large full length glass panels in the roof, this conservatory feels incredibly bright and spacious.
Winner of the Ultraframe installation of the Month June 2023
The owners of this bungalow, like many, had an old outdated conservatory on their house that’s only use had become somewhere to sit in Summer evenings, but wasn’t being used to its full potential, being far too hot during the summer daytime and too cold in the winter.
We took this opportunity along with the homeowner to make use of the new hup! walling system from Ultraframe, designed to enable extensions to exceed all building regulation requirements and be fives times more energy efficient than the average UK home.
The old conservatory structure was carefully pulled down before new footings were dug creating a much larger footprint. Full height hup! walls to both sides, both creating greater privacy from neighbouring homes and full internal walls for tv/ cabinets to be fixed to. To the front ar large for height column was added for a more contemporary look, joined either side with two sets of fully opening aluminium bifold doors.
With the combination of a new fully insulated Ultraroof and two extra large self cleaning Ambi Blue Sunshade glass panels in the roof this new home extension will now provide a modern, warm, bright, inviting living room for this family to be able to enjoy all year round.
Fully plastered throughout with electrical sockets and down lighters, outdoor lighting installed and externally rendered using Krend light-weight render.
